Set up meetings with clients and team members for the initial review of the project(s).• Provide a full estimating package (including takeoff drawings) for both Structural and Non-Structural components of the building(s), including drywall packages.• Once project is awarded, Evaluate and determine/prepare all the design loads, data, and specifications.• Evaluate and determine the most efficient and cost-effective load path for the structure(s).• Evaluate and analyze the gravity loads (both uniform and concentrated loads) on each level and the lateral loads (wind/seismic loads) of the core wall(s).• Design the steel stud components of the structure (all the Exterior and Interior Load Bearing Walls, Posts, and Lintels). • Design the Balconies (Frame, Connections, and Floor assemblies).• Design all the structural steels (beams and columns) components of the structure (including roof with parapets, canopies and terrace). • Value Engineer the steel stud designs, structural steel designs, and connection designs (if designed by others). • Coordinate each step with the P.Eng.(s) and provide a detailed calculation(s)/result(s) of all the analysis and design for approvals and confirmations/stamp.• Coordinate and review drawings (including shop drawings)from other consultants. Attend all required design/construction coordination meetings.
