Timeously host the pre-audit meeting and ensure that the planning meeting is set up and audit planning is signed off before commencement of the audit.• Assist in preparation of detailed time budgets, allocating the audit work to specific audit team members also Communication of deadlines and budget to staff.• Oversee and ensure that all the project activities comply with the firm\'s policies and procedures.• Perform and review on sections in the audit file.• Perform support function of principal client contact and take responsibility for the client relationship management and ensure that all queries are solved timeously.• Decide on audit appropriateness of audit opinion by resolving issues which might impact on the audit opinion and ensuring that these are brought to the attention of the engagement Director and documentation thereof.• Manage the client and ensure that the project is delivered within the scope agreed on.• Review the work-in-progress and discuss with Director for action. Prepare the audit efficiency checklist.• Review the draft financial statements and ensure that they are IFRS complaint. • Implementing accounting systems, preparation of monthly management accounts, annual financial statements, in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, budgeting and variance analysis. Also assist in preparation Annual Financial Statement in accordance with IFRS, GAAP, GRAP and external audit facilitation.• Ensure that matters for Director’s attention and audit findings schedules have been prepared and discussed with the Director and that the Director has signed off the schedule.• Ensure that the documents pertaining to audit finalisation / completion has been completed and reviewed, Management letter, Representation letter.• Provide adequate on the job training, counselling and evaluation
