As a Project Manager at the Low Income Investment Fund (LIIF), I support the Chief People Officer (CPO) with executive administrative duties, strategic initiatives, and organizational logistics. My role focuses on three core areas: managing logistics for all-staff convenings, overseeing employee engagement surveys and presentations, and providing high-level administrative support to the CPO. I also collaborate with Executive Assistants to develop strategies for effectively supporting LIIF’s Executive and senior leadership teams. Based in LIIF’s Washington, D.C. office, I contribute to operational excellence and organizational efficiency, ensuring seamless execution of key people and culture initiatives. Additionally, I support LIIF office moves as needed. In the near future, I will leverage my project management and event planning expertise to support LIIF events on a national scale.

ABOUT KIARA HILL
Kiara Hill is from Washington, D.C. She received her Bachelors of Science degree in Journalism and Mass Communications, with a concentration in Multimedia Journalism and a minor in Psychology in May of 2019. Kiara has done several internships in her hometown. She has interned with the Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs and U.S. Department of Agriculture where she worked extremely close with their Communications Department. Previously, Kiara worked for CityWorks DC, a non-profit organization. Her work included launching new and amplifying existing initiatives that reshape education-to-employment pathways in Washington, DC. She also managed all social media platforms for their initiative, CareerWise DC. Currently, Kiara is working as a Project Manager at the Low Income Investment Fund (LIIF), a community development financial institution that’s been around for more than 40 years. They are dedicated to creating pathways of opportunity for people and communities through impact-driven investments. LIIF provides capital and innovative financial solutions to support affordable housing, early childhood education, healthy food access, and equitable community development.
