About Kianna McIntosh

Kianna McIntosh is a Licensed Master Social Worker, at ELI Thrive. Her role is to provide a structured, strengths-base therapeutic relationship between a licensed social worker, community partners, and the family for the purpose of providing case management, crisis intervention, brief counseling, and psycho-education to help individuals address financial barriers, connect and understand their finances, and change behaviors and emotions associated with finances such as stress, anxiety, depression, and avoidance. Her past experience includes works directly with children, adolescents, individuals, and families to provide therapeutic services to treat psychiatric illnesses, as well as address substance abuse issues. After years of providing quality service to children and their families, Kianna believes that everyone has the ability to reach self-actualization through empowerment and self-determination. Kianna has 8 years of experience working with diverse clients and their families, in a variety of settings, including, residential, long term care, group home, substance abuse, and psychiatric intensive care.
