ABOUT KIANA TITTERINGTON
I\'m a recipient of the full-ride Chick Evans Scholarship and recently graduated from the University of Oregon. I received a Bachelor of Science in Journalism with a minor in Legal Studies. I\'m very passionate about seeking the truth, and I feel like the next generation of journalists must work diligently to bring this core concept back to the focus of journalism. My time at the U of O taught me to look for the stories that aren’t being told and to ask why. As a black female scholar, I’m proud to represent my identity in my field as well as the broader community.In addition to my storytelling skillset, I developed other communication skills through my internships. I have worked on many client projects including internal web pages, email campaigns, and SEO content. I\'m able to focus my copy to address the needs of a client’s target audience in many different formats and for multiple purposes. Now I’m a full-time professional working to connect my local community with businesses and resources that will help it thrive. I’m diligent, hardworking, and thorough, but most importantly I’m steadfast in my goals.
