ABOUT KIANA CAMPBELL

Hey! I’m Kiana (pronounced like banana), and I\'m a Product Designer based in Calgary, AB. Over the past three years, I’ve been crafting core product experiences across both B2B and B2C sectors, primarily in the ticketing and, most recently, payments industries.Growing up, creativity was my outlet—taking art and digital design classes, photographing life milestone events, and even giving interior design tips to my mom and her friends (especially when gallery walls were all the rage ). Without role models in creative careers, I initially chose a business degree and began my career as an Analyst, where I honed skills in market research and data analysis.I enjoyed helping people by using data to create consulting advice, but deep down, I knew it was only a matter of time before I returned to a more creative pursuit. Now, my business background is a core strength in my design work. I’m great at connecting disciplines, working with cross-functional teams, and ensuring design decisions tie back to business impact. I focus on identifying customer problems, making thoughtful trade-offs with a systems mindset, and balancing user needs with company goals. Complex and ambiguous problems are my brain food—I love figuring out how to make hard things easier and more enjoyable. Outside of work, you’ll find me walking my dog while listening to design, product, and leadership podcasts (big fan of Lenny’s Podcast, and most recently, Dive Club). I’ve also enjoyed books like Don’t Make Me Think and Continuous Discovery Habits.I love connecting and meeting new people —please send me a note if we haven’t crossed paths yet!
