ABOUT KIANA BEHESHTIAN

Hello everyone! Thank you for visiting my LinkedIn Profile. My name is Kiana Beheshtian. I completed my Bachelor of Arts at the University of California, Merced, majoring in Public Health. During my time in the Central Valley, I witnessed significant health disparities, which inspired me to attend graduate school at Brown University to find ways to combat these inequities. I recently graduated with My Master\'s in Public Health (MPH) at Brown University School of Public Health, with a specific interest in Epidemiology and Health Services/Policy. My research interests encompass health disparities, health systems, health policy, healthcare access, and non-communicable diseases (such as heart disease, oral health disease, chronic respiratory disease, and diabetes). I am passionate and motivated to learn from and collaborate with diverse and interdisciplinary faculty, peers, and partners. My goal is to become a leader and a change agent in the field of public health, utilizing evidence-based and innovative quality improvement approaches to enhance health while advocating for equitable healthcare.
