About Kian Heiat

As a Community Development Manager at Movember, I drive the expansion of the US University market by recruiting, training, and coaching 70+ student ambassadors to amplify Movember’s outreach and mission. With the help of my team, I have stewarded students to hold large-scale events that have fundraised over $4.5 million for men’s health projects, such as prostate cancer research, mental health support, and suicide prevention.I have received my MA in Communications at The Johns Hopkins University, where I am learning how to apply contemporary marketing techniques and PR practices to create effective and engaging campaigns for social causes. I have also acquired multiple certifications in sports marketing, athlete marketing, and project management, which have enhanced my skills and knowledge in these domains. I am passionate about using my communication and marketing skills to build and maintain relationships with various communities and stakeholders, and to promote positive social change.
