About Stepan Khzrtian

Since 2022, I\'ve been building, a legaltech startup which takes the complexity out of legal and tax compliance. Our core product, automated 83(b) elections, helps companies and their employees get this high-stakes, time-sensitive filing taken care of quickly and properly.This foray is informed by over 10+ years of private law practice – currently through my solo practice, and previously through my boutique firm, – during the course of which I\'ve helped and continue to the help the best startups, enterprises, and non-profits to pursue visions, create products, expand to new markets, craft and close deals, and create value that will outlast them.I\'m honored to serve as the president of, a non-profit organization that supports students in their pursuit of excellent education. We believe in education, in standing on the shoulders of others. In fact, we are each a result of this, and with this, we pay it forward.Studying how societies organize and function is a source of incessant inspiration for me, from the ancient civilizations to the modern day. This fascination led me to author a exploring how societies – particularly, the society of Armenia – may be organized in the future, called «Կարգապահների տունը» (\"Chamber of Keepers of the Order\").I strive on meeting new people and hearing their stories, especially ancestral. I have a knack for explaining complex topics through simple concepts and finding the middle ground through creative solutions – skills I\'ve nearly perfected with the help of my toddler. I drink two cups of espresso a day – no more, no less – and can tell you the best coffee shops within a five-mile-radius of where you are. And whenever I can, I write.
