As a Level-1 Certified Genetic Counselor in India, it is my calling to help families by encouraging health equity. Genetic Counseling to me seems to be the best blend of medicine and engineering along with psychology completing this amalgamation. I believe in acts of service, which has gravitated me towards becoming a genetic counselor. With a demonstrated history in the research industry, ahead in the future, I aim to use these skills to find better solutions to genetic disorders whether it is in diagnosis, prevention, or treatment.Requiring a creative outlet for my colorful imagination and way with words, I turned towards freelance content writing. With close to 4 years of experience, this has given me a space to use my weapon of choice, a pen while honing essential skills like SEO and audience-specific interactive prompts. Homing a buffet of interests such as writing and performing poetry, theatre, art, reading books, and gardening, I love to spend time outdoors hiking, swimming, or dog-sitting!
