I am a Biophotonics researcher and MedTech Innovator with a decade of experience in translating cutting-edge research into practical cancer solutions. My expertise lies in developing and integrating innovative intra-operative imaging techniques, particularly optical endomicroscopy, to revolutionize image-guided interventions and cancer detection during surgeries.I recently completed a postdoctoral position at Imperial College London, where I focused on the interdisciplinary fusion of biomedical imaging, robotics, and AI to improve surgical outcomes and patient care. My PhD in the same field provides a strong foundation for my current research. My passion is not confined to research alone. I am driven to bridge the gap between academic research and practical healthcare, ensuring that unique imaging solutions become tangible clinical applications. Our work has gained international attention, with features in leading science and media outlets like The Times, UKRI, The Guardian, Sky News, and more. Outside the lab, I actively engage with the community through science outreach and freelance science writing. Making science accessible and exciting is something close to my heart.
