PwC emails confirmation letters to brokers. IMS forwards PwC emails to brokers along with Client’s internal positions records. PwC reconciles Client’s internal records against Bank records with Broker statements. IMS research any discrepancies in position records. Both IMS & PwC follow up on un-confirmed positions. IMS continues to follow up on un-confirmed positions daily until all confirmations are received. Audit cycle is 45 day turnaround process.
