ABOUT KHUSHI AGARWAL

I still remember the first time I was leaning over my veranda railing, gazing at the round ball of white colored clay that stood in the middle of the sky. This tiny object had something charismatic about itself, something that had compelled me to read a whole encyclopedia about the moon at the age of 6. Yes, I am a selenophile. The courage that the moon shoulders in leading millions of stars in the caelum is simply astounding. This powerful ascendency of the cosmos found a very close place in my heart, especially when I was first chosen as the class monitor in the second grade. That day I had made promises to myself of never leaving my friends in distress and always working towards serving my class in times of need. Little did I know that even after ten years I will still be pledging the same and trying to become a better person for the society every single day. I have always found solace in the written world and attribute my philosophical outlook to my inclination towards both, reading and writing. Having volunteered in several events and awareness campaigns, I now see service not as a social obligation but an insight. Gravitating towards standing up against matters of substance, climate change, human rights and women upliftment taking the center stage I have become a person who is always vouching for responsible coexistence.
