Sodexo India – Young Leader Program (Management Trainee, Batch 1)Tenure: July 2024 – June 2025 | Locations: Mumbai | Ratnagiri | Kakinada | New DelhiSegments Covered: Energy & Resources | HealthcareCompleted a one-year rotational management trainee program across Energy & Resources and Healthcare segments, gaining cross-functional experience in food service and facilities management from offshore/onshore operations to hospital environments.In the Energy & Resources segment (first 6 months), managed mobilization/demobilization, document validation, and personnel deployment across offshore rigs, barges, vessels, and platforms. Key projects included Jindal Supreme Rig, where I mobilized catering services, managed inventory, coordinated vendors, and ensured safety compliance, and Reliance KGD6 Gadimoga, where I directed facilities and catering operations, supervised staff and contractors, managed café/pantry operations, and implemented cost-saving measures.In the Healthcare segment (next 6 months), gained end-to-end experience in hospital food and beverage operations at Fortis Hospital, Delhi (300 beds), serving meals daily. Supported NABH audit readiness, coordinated daily CME events, and received exposure to multiple hospital units to understand operational variations.Currently serving as Assistant Hospitality Manager at ILBS Hospital, New Delhi, shadowing a Senior Site Manager and managing three retail outlets (Dr. Café, Staff Cafeteria, Visitor Café “Yoo Café”), Aarogyam Food Cart, and in-room dining for attendants. Responsible for daily sales, revenue targets, compliance, and supporting hospital operations including patient meals and CME events.This YLP journey enhanced operational, leadership, problem-solving, and client engagement skills, preparing me to drive efficiency and impact in complex hospitality environments.
