About Karsten Huehn
I’ve been working on the web for over 20 years, developing everything from front-end UIs to complete solutions. My skill set spans programming languages such as JavaScript, Vue.js, Ember.js, Angular, Svelte, jQuery, server technologies such as Node.js, Express, and Nest.js, and CI/CD tools such as Docker, Node, Jekyll, and TypeScript.I was able to develop a new skill set as a fintech engineer, and I concentrated my efforts there on the development of web components, which enabled clients to have our internal functionalities right within their sites. The underlying effort, however, has always been to minimize repetitive tasks and make everything easier for everyone involved—both the builders and the users, and I’ve also spent time tutoring my colleagues.I enjoy considering a problem from a different perspective and applying simple and effective approaches. As a writer and customer service representative, I have learned how to break difficult requirements into clean and working code. I have a naturally inquisitive mind, discovering ways to apply emerging frameworks and emerging technology to improve projects.
