ABOUT SOHEL KHAN

As an accomplished HCL WebSphere Commerce/Java/Search Technology consultant with over 19 years of experience in developing high transactional e-commerce web applications, I possess a remarkable track record of designing and developing robust and scalable web applications using cutting-edge technologies such as Java, JEE, Spring, SpringBoot, Microservices, REST API, JPA, Kafka, Apache Spark, Flat Files, Fuzzy Logic, and Cloud Technologies. With a keen focus on the application architecture, design, and development of web applications, I have been instrumental in helping numerous customers enhance their search result relevancy and increase conversions. I have also successfully integrated third-party systems such as Bloomreach and RichRelevance, delivering a more personalized customer experience on omnichannel platforms. In my current role, I have a wide range of responsibilities, including providing solutions for problems encountered during development and acting as a focal point for team members, developing APIs required for the storefront as a React Single Page Application, contributing to technical discussions and providing expert opinions, estimating the level of effort required to deliver user stories/requirements, and delivering specialist expertise in the relevant platforms and technologies. I take pride in my ability to write clean, well-architected code with comprehensive testing that passes all automated testing. I am fully committed to participating in all quality processes, such as static analysis, unit testing, and delivering and receiving code reviews. Furthermore, I create and maintain detailed documentation to support technical designs, decisions, and support tasks, ensuring all stakeholders are informed of project progress and developments.
