Safely deliver products, equipment and render outstanding service to customers. Responsible for safe and efficient loading of drums, case goods and bulk fuels, lubes and chemicals. Responsible for loading and unloading at customer locations. Load and unload a fuel truck, safely implementing precautions associated with hazards of transporting and issuing petroleum products. Follow policies and procedures of customer\'s operations and site. Comply with company and customer safety rules. Note problems and/or recommend courses of actions to supervisor in order to decrease costs and increase production. Perform operational and preventive maintenance checks on relevant fuel equipment and vehicles in accordance with standards. Gauge tanks daily for estimated fuel amount in accordance with requirement. Pre and post trip truck and trailer inspections; safely driving loaded and empty tanker. Properly loading and unloading; handling, hooking, and unhooking hoses; operating pumps and valves for loading and unloading, both on and off the truck; safely filling tanks of all types and sizes using various size hoses, nozzles, and fittings; safely using pipe wrenches, crescent wrenches, hammers, and other hand tools; accurately complete driver logs, pre and post trip forms, invoices, and other paperwork as required.
