I have practiced as an economic geologist with both major exploration / mining companies and I am presently the Vice President of A.C.A. Howe International Limited (“Howe”), a Canadian based international geological and mining consulting firm which was established in 1960. Howe provides a wide range of geological and mining consulting services to the international mining industry, including geological, evaluation and valuation reports on mineral properties. The firm’s services are provided through offices in Toronto, Canada and London U.K.Throughout my 23+ year career, I have been directly involved in the generation, development and management of many projects ranging from grassroots (conceptual) stages through to advanced and partially developed prospects / deposits. I’ve also gained a broad range of hands on experience that covers a wide array of commodities, geological, geographical and operational settings. I have designed, managed and worked on numerous grass roots and/or advanced surface and underground exploration projects for precious metals, alluvial and primary diamond deposits, alluvial gold deposits, base metal deposits, gemstone deposits and industrial minerals located in Africa, Europe, North and South America and Russia. I have also gained extensive business / corporate affairs experience in the creation, development, management and operation of a start-up information technology as well private and/or public junior mining companies.I am currently a registered member of the Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario (“APGO”), the Society of Economic Geologists (“SEG”), the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (“CIM”) and the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (“PDAC”).
