As a Board Director of the New Relationship Trust, I provide governance and strategic oversight to ensure the organization fulfills its mandate to strengthen Indigenous capacity and nation rebuilding in British Columbia. This also involves participating in grant-making and investment decisions to ensure resources are allocated effectively and drive tangible impact for communities and Nations.The position requires a strong focus on accountability, transparency, and performance reporting to First Nations leadership and government partners, as well as ongoing engagement with communities to remain responsive to emerging priorities. I also support partnership development with Indigenous organizations, government, philanthropic institutions, and the private sector to expand opportunities and advance collective goals.
