I was born and raised in New York City. I attended Suffield Academy and graduated in 2007. After that, I enrolled in George Washington University in DC and did five years of undergraduate studies in the School of Engineering and Applied Science. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Science and a minor in Accounting/Finance.

   Managing accounts payable, accruals, and payroll accounting processes- Spearheading month-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations for various general ledger accounts- Overseeing global payroll processing, including salaries and wages, bonuses, commissions, benefits, 401K, payroll taxes, etc- Conducting comprehensive monthly and quarterly flux analyses by providing in-depth context on period-over-period variances and researching discrepancies- Partnering with cross-functional teams (e.g. human resources, finance) and provide expert guidance on accounting matters- Proactively identifying any gaps within the accounting processes and propose innovative solutions for continuous improvement- Assisting in establishing and maintaining a robust internal control environment- Liaising with external auditors during interim and year-end audits, preparing supporting documentation and responding to inquiries- Supporting new initiatives and ad-hoc projects, as needed
