Komal has 5 years working experience in stakeholder engagement, partnerships, Outreach and relationship management with senior government officials, corporates and various other stakeholders. Komal Khatri was a project Associate at WRI India’s Climate program, which aims to support India’s pathway to a low-carbon economy. I have a track record of Strategic Partnerships with government organizations, Corporates, NGO’s, Think tanks and with MNC’s. I am passionate about the potential for impactful enterprises to drive sustainable development. I also have experience to lead and manage events.Experience in coordination with influential speakers. I have handled the entire coordination, the invites, also emceed the entire event. Previously I worked for the Tata Trust and the Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation Rural as a Consultant and Helped The city of Sangrur be Open defecation Free by helping ground staff and guiding City Officials on timely finish of the project. Me including the city officials finished the project before the deadline. Moreover, I spearheaded the project of installing 3 modern public toilets in the city through HPCL’s CSR funds, I was able to raise 50 lakhs from them for the city of Sangrur. I was able to use IEC: Information, Education, Communication activities to bring behavior change in the masses. For the Same I took various initiatives which were followed all over the state and all over the country, One of the various initiatives was Video vans roaming around in villages spreading awareness about open defecation and cleanliness, this initiative brought results also it also became a mass movement in Punjab and all over India. I have received a letter of appreciation from the Secretary of Ministry Of Drinking water and Sanitation for the Work on ground for the above Job. Some of my hobbies and personal interests include meditation and exploring spirituality. Also passionate about Mental health and wellbeing. I love traveling and exploring different cultures. I have lived across 7 cities around the world and it has opened me to different cultures, different people and to live in different circumstances. I am also a founder of a NGO, where I spend time on my weekends, Our main Goal is to Plant Trees and work in rural villages to develop soft skills. As an environmentalist, using crowdfunding I have planted trees in various government schools, colleges, crematories, at the banks of Yamuna river and public parks.
