ABOUT KHASHAYAR BARADARAN SALMANI

I am currently pursuing a Master\'s degree in Materials Engineering for Industry 4.0 at Politecnico di Torino, specializing in Advanced Manufacturing. I also hold a Bachelor\'s degree in Polymer Engineering, where my thesis focused on utilizing leather industry waste in polymer blends and modifying the matrix to enhance compatibility with leather and improve mechanical properties. My interests lie in expanding my expertise in polymer materials and processing methods, as well as their applications in innovative manufacturing, including additive manufacturing. However, my Master\'s studies have also given me a strong foundation in metal and ceramic materials, surface science and technology, joining techniques, and production process simulation. In addition to my studies, I continuously enhance my technological proficiency. I am well-versed in tools such as Ansys, Moldex3D, Salome, ChemDraw, and Minitab, as well as programming language like MATLAB. Through hands-on experience with techniques like NMR, FTIR, SEM, DSC, and DMTA, I have developed a strong foundation in materials analysis and characterization. My expertise also extends to XPS for chemical analysis, SEM and XRD for structural and crystallographic insights, and Rheological and Processability Tests for polymer behavior assessment.
