Key responsibilities involved coordinating and managing third-party and internal projects along the 407 ETR highway corridor. This included reviewing and processing design submissions and proposals for activities like utility installations, municipal roadwork, transit projects, and other construction within the corridor lands. Design submissions of Building Land Use applications were also reviewed. and analysed. Ensuring compliance with the Concession Ground Lease Agreement, legislation, and Ontario standards is critical.Duties included maintaining documentation, conducting field inspections, reviewing proposals, identifying risks and safety issues, and recommending solutions. Monitoring installed infrastructure for compliance with quality and safety standards was also required.Responding promptly to incidents or issues in the corridor by implementing corrective actions was key. Collaborating with 407 ETR staff, MTO, and other entities to troubleshoot and resolve corridor issues was necessary. The position assisted with highway asset management through condition inspections. It also supported contract administration and project management for internal 407 ETR projects by collecting quantities, creating bid comparisons, and filing contracts.Coordinating and monitoring project activities by liaising with contractors, suppliers, and authorities was involved. Coordination with external agencies for highway operations was also a responsibility, ensuring adherence to provincial and federal standards.
