ABOUT KHALED JUNIOR BEN HAFAIEDH
Graduated with a Ph.D in electrical and computer engineering from the School of Information Technology and Engineering (SITE) at the University of Ottawa in 2016, I have a great passion for technology. My Ph.D thesis addresses the scalability and resilience problems when crawling Rich Internet Applications (RIAs) in a distributed environment for the purpose of security. I have been working for the Software Security Research Group (SSRG) collabo- rating with the IBM Center for Advanced Studies (CAS-IBM Canada) for research related to software security from 2011 to 2016. The team\'s main focus includes research on the latest security attacks/vulnerabilities as well as their implications with regard to rich internet applications. I joined Esprit Private School (Ecole Suprieure Prive d\'Ingnierie et de Tech- nologies) in September 2016. I am currently a permanent member of the Web team as a Technologist. I am teaching/supervising \"Service Oriented Architecture\" and \"Python\" script language for the web. Furthermore, I became the group leader of MINOS Research Development and Innovation (RDI) group at Esprit in 2018. Minos Research & Development group consists of students and faculty at Esprit for research related to Cyber security. Our current main focus includes research on the latest security attacks/vulnerabilities including Security intelligence as a network service in NFV (Network Function and Virtualization), Security of Firewall services, Fishing Attacks prevention and Blockchain Security Solutions. My research interests are network computer communications, network of fu- ture, distributed and decentralized systems, peer-to-peer technology, fault tolerant computing, crawling of rich internet applications, Web Services, service oriented architecture, Network Function and Virtualization, Firewall services, Fishing Attacks prevention, Blockchain Technology, etc.
