About Khadijahtu Mohammed
I am a licensed Engineer in Training in Washington state with bachelor\'s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. I worked at Ghana’s largest power generation facility, the Akosombo Hydro Generating Station, where I gained hands on experience across electrical system installation, testing, inspection, troubleshooting, maintenance, power distribution, equipment repair, commissioning support, and technical documentation, building a strong, practical foundation in electrical engineering and field operations. My technical experience was further strengthened through HVAC field and computer based work in Canada, where I independently inspected, tested, and balanced building systems, interpreted engineering drawings and blueprints using software tools, diagnosed system issues, collaborated with multi trade teams and produced technical reports, demonstrating strong analytical ability, technical versatility, and the capacity to quickly master diverse engineering challenges.Currently, I work as a DC Critical Environment Technician at Microsoft, where I operate and maintain critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure while supporting monitoring, incident response, and reliability improvements. I also take proactive steps to grow in the electrical engineering path by shadowing site electrical engineers and participating in engineering coordination and review meetings to build deeper knowledge of data center power systems and design. My career interests are in the power sector and data centers, where I strive to enhance reliability and operational efficiency. I take pride in my ability to excel both in collaborative team settings and when working independently, adapting effectively to diverse environments.I\'m currently exploring electrical engineering opportunities in the power sector and data center industry. I\'m always eager to connect with professionals who share my enthusiasm for engineering and innovation. Let\'s connect and explore ways we can collaborate.
