ABOUT KHADIA DIALLO

Hello!I’m Khadia Diallo, a student at the University of San Diego pursuing a degree in International Business and Marketing with a minor in French. I’m passionate about the spaces where culture, creativity, and communication overlap, and I’m always drawn to ideas that bridge global perspectives with real world expression. Being raised in a Senegalese household, I carry with me a deep-rooted sense of identity, artistry, and community. These values show up in everything I do, from the way I design and create to how I engage with people and ideas across languages and cultures. I’m fluent in English, French, and Wolof, and I see language as a gateway to connection and meaning.My world is filled with color, movement, and exploration. I love sewing and sketching designs that blend West African tradition with European simplicity. Upcycling gives me a chance to reimagine materials into something new and meaningful. When I’m not designing, you’ll usually find me eating Senegalese dishes, doing yoga, listening to Afrobeats, or catching sunsets. Music, art, and conversation keep me inspired, and I always find myself learning through experience.In the future, I hope to work in the fashion industry where I can bring together culture, business, and storytelling through design. I want to help brands create with intention by amplifying underrepresented voices and drawing inspiration from global traditions. Fashion, to me, is a powerful way to express identity, preserve heritage, and shape meaningful narratives. My goal is to contribute to a future where fashion celebrates culture, encourages sustainability, and connects people across borders.
