About Khabane Lekena
I graduated from my undergraduate program with a concentration in graphics and computer engineering. I tried something new, joining a development team building cloud-native software. I gained experience in cloud infrastructure, containers, distributed caching/computing, load balancing, and security to address vague user requirements and contribute to the team\'s success. I am now a master\'s student seeking deeper exposure to graphics and artificial intelligence to deepen my skills and become a T-shaped engineer. I am interested in solving rendering and image synthesis problems for constrained computing environments. I am building a render engine outside of my coursework. I am also motivated to learn how neural rendering can help render passes achieve more in real time. I am currently interested in graphics engineering roles close to research teams, helping actualise research theories into production-ready solutions for industry.
