The President & CEO is responsible for shaping and executing the foundation’s long-term vision, managing daily operations, building high-impact partnerships, and ensuring sustainable growth across all programmatic, advocacy, and development efforts.Key Responsibilities: • Strategic Leadership • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan aligned with the foundation’s mission to unite the South Sudanese diaspora and drive community-led transformation. • Lead efforts to expand programs under the RAAN Four Layers Development System (Kids, Youth, Community, Diverse Community). • Operational Oversight • Oversee program development, staff/volunteer coordination, and resource allocation to ensure effectiveness and efficiency. • Monitor organizational performance, impact metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives. • Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement • Build and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, donors, international partners, educational institutions, government agencies, and nonprofit allies. • Represent RAAN Vision Foundation at public events, forums, conferences, and within South Sudanese and Pan-African networks. • Fundraising & Financial Management • Drive fundraising initiatives and donor relations to ensure financial sustainability. • Develop grant proposals and manage budgets in alignment with organizational priorities. • Youth Empowerment & Cultural Advocacy • Promote peacebuilding, leadership development, and educational access for youth. • Advocate for cultural pride, unity, and resilience within South Sudanese communities at home and abroad.
