ABOUT KEYURI KATHROTIA
As a Software Systems Engineer at Abbott, I apply my bioengineering background and skills to develop and test software solutions for medical devices that improve the quality of life for patients with heart failure. I work with a cross-functional team of engineers, clinicians, and researchers to ensure the software meets the regulatory, safety, and performance standards. I graduated with a Master\'s degree in Biomedical Engineering - Neuroengineering track from USC Viterbi School of Engineering in 2022, where I also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and a Research and Development Assistant at the Center for Neural Engineering. I gained valuable experience in neural implant engineering, image segmentation, and electrical stimulation. My passion for neurotechnology stems from my fascination with the human mind and my desire to advance our society by enhancing our cognitive capabilities. I am creative, driven, enthusiastic, and eager to learn new things and develop new skills in a professional setting. My goal is to pursue opportunities in the neurotech field that challenge me and allow me to contribute to the innovation and improvement of the field.
