ABOUT KEYU SUMARIA
As a British Kenyan entrepreneur born and raised in Kenya with experience living in Spain, I co-founded The Oblique Life with my brothers Romi Sumaria and Shonil Sumaria, a platform aimed at connecting people, businesses, and ideas. I am also deeply committed to transforming science research and education in Africa and currently work as the Sub-Saharan Africa Manager at JoVE, where I work with researchers and educators across the continent to bring cutting-edge science education to more students & researchers than ever before.My passion for community building and entrepreneurship is closely aligned with my dedication to improving science education in Africa, as I believe that by providing access to high-quality scientific knowledge and resources, we can help to create a new generation of innovators and problem-solvers who will drive positive change across the continent. With my broad range of skills that make me a visionary and innovative leader, I always prioritize the power of people, collaboration, and creativity, regardless of the industry I work in.I am known for my infectious energy and unwavering commitment to excellence, and I am proud to be a thought leader in entrepreneurship, community building, and science education.
