ABOUT KEVIN YABES
Dr. Kevin Yabes is a postdoctoral psychology fellow in the APA-accredited postdoctoral residency program at the VA Pacific Islands Health Care System (VAPIHCS) and a licensed psychologist in the state of New Mexico. He earned his Ph.D. in counseling psychology with a minor in integrated behavioral healthcare from New Mexico State University. Dr. Yabes also holds an M.S. in multicultural community counseling and social justice education from San Diego State University\'s Community-Based Block (CBB) program. He is a past fellow of the California State University (CSU) Chancellor\'s Doctoral Incentive Program (CDIP). His clinical and research interests are in Filipinx American/Asian American psychology, health psychology, masculinity, and cross-cultural clinical supervision.
