Ensuring equipment maintenance by monitoring that they are operated and maintained, always satisfying all minimum safety and compliance standards and monitoring the shipping operations, Responsible for managing seagoing engineering staff and the building, shipyard, OEM, supplier and contract relations, protecting NOC interest. Supporting the Head of Research Ship Operations concerning activities and procedures to comply with Flag, Class, ISM and other applicable international and national codes and regulations. Monitoring the planned preventive maintenance, reactive maintenance of all the vessels, scheduling of inspections, and routine maintenance ensure continued compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards. Leading the delivery of various special projects such as refits and major periodic vessel overhauls, including formulating dry-docking specifications planning, resource management, stakeholder liaison and progress/quality monitoring Managing the fleet budget, operational resources and stakeholders to ensure maximum operating efficiency.
