I\'ve recently moved from selling products to selling a service. In St. Gemma\'s case, a very special service and one which all too many of us can relate to in terms of having a friend or relative experiencing palliative care.It costs approximately £9 million to run St Gemma\'s for a year. This equates to per day. Less than a third of this is covered by statutory funding. My role is to secure, substantial, sustainable financial commitment.
