In this role I am leading the strategic energy management program in collaboration with regional planners and plant operators in the Environmental Services (ES) Department for the nine metro-area water resource recovery facilities. This work includes co-leading the implementation of day-to-day strategies outlined in the ES Climate Action Work Plan to achieve regional targets to reduce energy use and greenhouse gas emissions as reported to the Minnesota Department of Administration, Office of Enterprise Sustainability.
