The Executive Director, Broadcast Operations manages both Master Control and the Media Control Center pertaining to all technical and operational workflows within both groups. This includes employee management and oversight of all OTA, OTT and Digital contribution/origination/distribution of both live and server based content across all Network and Cable based platforms.• The Tempe FOX Technology Center is the crown jewel hub for technology and is the primary site for distribution of all FOX properties sent nationwide and worldwide to our consumers. The center is IP based 2110, the first of its kind to be built from the ground-up as entirely IP based workflow. Additionally, I support oversight and management of our Disaster Recovery site located in Los Angeles.• Lead a team of 90+ Master Control Supervisors and Operators responsible for 24x7x365 origination of nine Cable Networks as well Fox Broadcast News, Entertainment and Sports sent to 20+ FOX O&O’s and 220+ FOX Non-O&O’s. Our teams are directly responsible for OTA with Hand-off, monitoring and troubleshooting of OTT and Digital platforms.• Lead a team of 40+ Media Control Center Managers, Supervisors and Operators responsible for 24x7x365 Contribution and Distribution of nine Cable Networks as well Fox Broadcast News, Entertainment and Sports sent to 20+ FOX O&O’s and 220+ FOX Non-O&O’s. Our teams are directly responsible for OTA with Hand-off, monitoring and troubleshooting of OTT and Digital platforms.• Collaborating amongst teams to plan, execute and deliver premier events for productions ranging from Superbowls to Presidential Primaries and Elections.• Embracing new technologies and champion cloud initiatives that support the HEVC distribution platform, Media Control Center monitoring activities and Private Line Network (PLN).
