I founded Detect-It, a hardware and software company that specializes in artificial intelligence and neural network technology, in October 2020. As President and CEO, I draw from the relationships I formed throughout Industry 3.0 to spearhead Detect-It’s market drive into Industry 4.0 and beyond. We’re here to usher in a new era of AI by bringing the power of deep learning and neural networks to help every person and company alike prosper and grow.Before Detect-It, as President and CEO of ARKK Engineering Inc, a full service systems integration solutions provider, my team and I served the automotive industry for 35+ years. In 2004, I started International Wheel and Tire Inc. to re-imagine solutions for wheel and tire manufacturing. My innovative designs and processes eventually led to IWT becoming a dominant competitor in high volume, automated wheel-tire assembly and balancing and establishing offices throughout the EU and Asia.Aside from my serial entrepreneurship, I enjoy investigating and learning about new subjects. These include martial arts, my family–and our time spent at our cottage–gardening, and caring for my pets and plants. I also enjoy traveling the world in search of new experiences, places and ways of life.I live by two sayings: “There is opportunity in turbulent times. Just don’t be afraid to seek it out,” and “When everyone else is scared and running left, run right, have confidence in yourself, remain keen, be prepared to battle, but be not afraid of what lay ahead. For once you overcome what others run from, a peaceful world lies beyond.”Through all my travels, business ventures and relationships I\'ve learned an important lesson: we all share the same emotions, desires and basic affordances — regardless of geographical location, much less any other qualifier. We\'re human, after all.
