Jaywalker is excited to announce Kevin Petersen, MA, LMFT, as our new Director of Family Services. Kevin brings over 30 years of experience in supporting families with loved ones suffering from addiction. In his role at Jaywalker, Kevin Petersen, MA, LMFT, will serve as a dedicated family advocate responsible for all aspects of our Family Program, including programming and systems management. His responsibilities will encompass a broad range of tasks aimed at supporting the families of our primary care clients. Kevin will develop individualized family treatment plans for all primary care clients, tailored to each family’s unique needs, strengths, and recovery goals. He will host a weekly family Zoom group meeting to provide ongoing support, education, and guidance, and conduct weekly individual family coaching sessions to address specific family dynamics and promote recovery. Additionally, he will facilitate our onsite family programs, ensuring they are comprehensive and effective in supporting family recovery. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, Kevin will participate in weekly clinical staffing meetings, providing valuable input and recommendations on client care. He will also undertake other responsibilities as assigned by the Chief Clinical Officer to support the overall effectiveness of our Family Program. Kevin’s extensive experience and commitment to family recovery will be instrumental in enhancing the support and resources available to Jaywalker families, ensuring they are fully integrated into the recovery process of their loved ones.
