During my internship at Shape Memory Medical, I embraced a multidisciplinary approach, contributing to R&D, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance operations. • R&D: I leveraged Fusion360 and Meshmixer to 3D print test-bed anatomy models, replicating patient-specific CT scans. This significantly enhanced the realism of testing scenarios, leading to improved product testing and evaluation. • Manufacturing: I enriched the functionality of crimping stations within the production line, applying electrical circuit analysis and manipulation. This increased efficiency and facilitated smoother production processes. • Quality Assurance: I optimized the parameters of laser welding, validated by tensile testing. This optimization led to improved quality control and reduced part fitting issues, ensuring a high standard of product quality.
