   The new battle for the cloud will happen at the edge. I am building a hardware team to deliver a world-class experience for the AI/ML-enabled Azure edge. This team focuses on building the best first-party implementation that leverages the power and security of Azure and the innovation of our vast partner network. I am also building a customer-facing operations function to ensure that Microsoft delivers the highest-quality experience for our first-party hardware. Our customers deserve hardware that \"just works\" in standard deployments as well as the tactical edge, typically in harsh environmental conditions. This team is responsible for coordinating and automating the customer experience from ordering through return as well as quality checks and logistics to ensure the right platform securely arrives at the right location at the right time.
