ABOUT KEVIN NELSON

I’m passionate about helping people regain their mobility, independence, and quality of life through innovative medical technology. My interest in medical device sales goes far beyond professional curiosity. It’s deeply personal. I’ve witnessed firsthand how transformative these products can be. After my father’s double hip replacement and my aunt’s total knee replacement, I watched both regain the ability to live active, pain-free lives. Seeing their recovery inspired me to pursue a career where I can play a part in restoring movement and improving patient outcomes every day. Before transitioning into medical sales, I built a successful career in real estate, serving as Vice President at a residential real estate services company. I developed core strengths that translate seamlessly into medical device sales, relationship building, consultative communication, and problem-solving under pressure. Whether negotiating deals or guiding clients through life-changing decisions, I’ve always led with empathy, integrity, and persistence. To prepare for Medical Device Sales, I immersed myself in training through the Medical Sales College’s Total Ortho program, where I gained practical, hands-on and Virtual Reality experience in orthopedic anatomy, trauma and sports medicine procedures, surgical instrumentation, and the full continuum of care. Working through simulated OR environments and case-based learning helped me understand the collaboration between sales reps, surgeons, and clinical staff and reinforced my commitment to delivering excellence and earning trust in every interaction. My goal is to join a high-performing medical device team where I can contribute to advancing patient care, support surgical success, and grow alongside industry leaders who share the same mission. I’m driven by challenge, fueled by curiosity, and inspired by the opportunity to make a real impact through innovation and service.
