ABOUT KEVIN RANDOLPH
Here\'s what I\'ve learned after working everywhere from camera stores to college admissions to contingent workforce management: people just want to do their jobs without getting tangled up in bureaucratic nonsense.That\'s exactly why I love being in HR. I get to be the person who cuts through the red tape and makes work actually work for people.I just started as an HR Generalist at Tailored Management, where I\'m diving into employee relations cases and helping folks navigate everything from FMLA to workplace conflicts. Before this, I spent 3+ years at Magnit managing contingent workforce operations for 300+ workers – basically becoming the go-to person when things got complicated (which they always do). What sets me apart? I\'ve been the employee dealing with confusing policies, the manager trying to support my team, and the entrepreneur figuring it all out as I go. I\'ve sold cars, managed retail teams, recruited accountants, and even ran my own photography business for nearly 8 years. This mix of experiences means I actually understand what it\'s like to be on every side of workplace situations. My superpower is finding creative solutions that keep good people working instead of pushing them out the door. I\'m constantly working to check my own biases and make sure everyone gets fair treatment, whether you\'re the CEO or the newest temp worker.I\'m pursuing my Master\'s in HR Management and working toward my SHRM-CP because this field keeps evolving, and I want to stay ahead of the curve. My goal? Lead a small, mighty team that makes work better for everyone while keeping companies out of legal hot water. When I\'m not problem-solving at work, I\'m training dogs – currently helping prepare a psychiatric service dog for someone with anxiety and PTSD. Dogs have this incredible ability to just make everything better, and honestly, that\'s the energy I try to bring to HR too.Want to connect? I\'m always up for talking about making workplaces more human.
