Being an outgoing person is something I work hard on. I believe this attribute helps make others feel welcome and as part of the team. On the court I helped lead a team by example; I did this by being genuine and not just following what seemed to be the norm. I am always willing to learn something from someone with less experience than me that will not only help me improve, but also help make a better team environment. In the classroom, I find it important to reach out to everyone that is part of a team. The connection you make to your team members plays a large role in team success.
