About Kevin Liu
I am currently a Business and Finance student at the University at Buffalo with a strong interest in entrepreneurship, investing, and building meaningful businesses. I am motivated by the idea of creating financial independence through a mix of discipline, curiosity, and real world experience.I grew up with a strong awareness of money and how it affects opportunity and stability. That pushed me to start learning about business and finance early and to apply what I learn instead of just studying it. I enjoy understanding how things work, especially when it comes to markets, money, and decision making.Alongside school, I have spent a lot of time building and experimenting with different side projects. These have included reselling products online, running print on demand and e commerce stores, doing affiliate marketing on social media, and exploring opportunities in areas like real estate, ATMs, and importing. Not everything works, but each project teaches me something new about risk, execution, and how to actually build something from nothing.I am also very interested in investing and financial markets. I spend time studying stocks, options, valuation, and broader economic trends because I enjoy breaking down complex ideas and understanding how they connect to the real world.At UB, I have been involved in Alpha Kappa Psi, where I have developed stronger communication, leadership, and teamwork skills. Being part of a professional organization has helped me understand the importance of accountability, clear communication, and working well with others.Long term, I want to continue building businesses and investments that create freedom, flexibility, and impact. I plan to keep learning, take on bigger projects, and eventually pursue further education such as an MBA. I am always open to meeting people who are curious, driven, and interested in building, learning, and growing.
