Utilized GraphQL’s abstract syntax trees to dynamically deconstruct and cache GraphQL queries, allowing for a deeper and more comprehensive caching system, increasing the chance that a given query will trigger a cache hit and thereby vastly improving the efficiency of a GraphQL server- Created a Redis database to store cached queries, greatly accelerating data transfer speeds due to Redis’s in-memory nature, resulting in a significantly faster caching process than a remotely-hosted database could provide- Stored data with PostgreSQL to complement GraphQL’s proclivity towards relational databases, as well as ensuring the safety and consistency of the data being transferred, thanks to its compliance with ACID standards, ultimately resulting in less data loss and a more cohesive codebase- Employed Node.js and Express’s modular and community-driven middleware ecosystem to create a testing and development environment, allowing for frictionless deployment, as well as a larger user base and greater marketability.
