Offering an Intro to Visual Effects course for the undergraduate program. I created approximately 70 hours of in-person curriculum that builds a comprehensive foundation in digital illusion: how the camera sees, the physics of light, color theory, observing the physical world, grounding effects, and the iterative, playful mindset of a VFX artist.Coursework spans compositing, chroma keying, rotoscoping, paint-outs, tracking, parallax and perspective changes, matte painting, color correction, sound design and additional core techniques.
