Contributing to developing a platform meant to speed up and automate the application and underwriting processes involved in creating and delivering a life insurance policy to a customer. Engaged in the design and development of an online dynamic journey for a life insurance applicant that asks a series of questions based on the information the applicant provides as he/she proceeds. Created an angular application for the same with a 90% completion rate, which made the information gathering phase 5x faster. Reused the same application to make it function as an interview application for customers that prefer to complete the application on a phone call. Included automated decision making and third party integrations in the application to reduce Labs/APS(Attending Physician Statement) requirement and speed up underwriting and delivery of policy.
