With over 20 years of experience in urban policy analysis, workforce development, and program management, I am deeply committed to fostering sustainable social and economic development in diverse communities. I hold a Master of Science in Urban Policy Analysis and Management from The New School and have enhanced my expertise through continuous professional development, including completing the prestigious CORO Workforce Systems Leadership Program (WSLP) in May 2024. This training has prepared me to navigate and innovate within the rapidly evolving workforce development field.In my current civic roles, as a member of the Queens Community Board and an Alum of the Queens General Assembly Delegate program with the Office of the Queens Borough President, I actively engage in strategic planning efforts that address critical issues such as land use, economic development, public policy, and budgeting. My contributions in these roles reflect my commitment to advancing inclusive, community-driven solutions.During my tenure at the National Urban League, I led initiatives that bolstered community resilience, inclusivity, and economic empowerment. I managed workforce development programs that focused on reentry populations and at-risk youth, forged partnerships with organizations like NABTU, CEWD, and Google, and implemented impactful programs that expanded opportunities for underserved populations. My work prioritized diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring that community engagement and data-driven strategies were at the forefront of every initiative.As the AVP of ConnectALL Grant and Program Management at Empire State Development, I spearheaded efforts to close the digital divide by expanding broadband access and enhancing digital literacy across New York State. I coordinated multi-stakeholder efforts to deliver tangible results, ensuring that technology and data were leveraged to provide equitable access to essential resources for underserved communities.At the USTA US Open, I contributed to the success of one of the world’s largest sporting events by providing high-level guest services and ensuring seamless operations in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.I am passionate about applying my skills in strategic planning, program development, and cross-sector collaboration to drive positive change. I thrive in dynamic environments that value innovative approaches to addressing urban and workforce challenges, and I am eager to continue making a tangible impact on communities through equitable and sustainable solutions.
