System Planning Engineer overseeing the hydraulic design of pipeline, compression, and meter & regulating facilities for expansion and maintenance capital projects. Also responsible for proposing equipment size/types to meet pipe, horsepower, cooling, and gas measurement requirements. •Responsible for hydraulic design of pipeline projects (utilizing WinFlow and NextGen) •Responsible for defining the scope for pipeline, compressors, and metering & regulation facilities and performing screening studies for evaluation of projects •Worked closely with business development and project development to understand customer needs and strategize the best path forward to receive or deliver gas at new locations •Maintained entitlements & obligations in hydraulic design of projects, as well as for reporting to regulatory agencies •Created an automated scoping tool to define project facilities based off of data exported from hydraulic model to save time and remove human error. The tool also expedites the conceptual mapping process, scope summaries, and provides screener level cost estimates. •Winner of GHG Emissions Reduction competition (135 submissions, 4 selected)
