My undergraduate studies were focused on preparing me for a career in the environmental field, a passion that began in high school. During those years, I competed in the State Science Fair for three consecutive years, earning recognition and awards in environmental science. At the University of South Florida, I gained valuable knowledge through rigorous coursework, laboratory experiments, fieldwork, and an internship with Tampa Bay Water, all of which thoroughly prepared me for a career in environmental and water-related studies.Professionally, I began my career with Veolia Water North America, the world’s largest water privatization company, where I worked as a full-time laboratory technician. In this role, I conducted various chemical analyses, performed instrumentation maintenance, and assisted in water treatment processes. I then advanced to a position as a Water Quality Management Specialist 2 with Pinellas County, where I supervised staff, managed multiple projects, and ensured the consistent delivery of high-quality drinking water. Currently, as the Water Quality and Operations Manager for Pasco County Utilities, I oversee water production and the distribution of safe, clean drinking water to approximately connections.Go Bulls! 🤘
