With a lifetime of experience in the construction industry starting at age 7 pulling nails out of concrete forms thru my 20+ years in leadership positions at Joseph J. Albanese, Inc.(JJA) I took over the role of President and Chief Executive officer in 2014 after the untimely passing of the company CEO, my father.The lessons I learned leading JJA throughout my career, especially through the unexpected transition of ownership and leadership, inspired me to consult and advise construction business owners on the development of their own future plans. I am able to share insights with founder-led or multi-generational businesses about succession, strategic leadership, and transition planning to ensures that the business continue to run smoothly after a company\'s most important people retire or pass away. In addition to working with business owners on succession planning I seek opportunities to join business’ boards of directors as an independent director.
